What do preschool kids learn?
Oral health activities are organized according to Head Start Learning Domain Outcomes. Children learn science reasoning by mixing toothpaste...practice listening skills with flannel stories...use curiosity with healthy teeth science experiments.
Activities are designed to meet these Domains:
- Language Development
- Literacy
- Mathematics
- Science
- Creative Arts
- Social and Emotional Development
- Approaches to Learning
- Physical Health and Development
Each activity clearly identifies the Domain Elements that apply (such as, Listening, Print Awareness, Curiosity, Fine Motor). It makes completing lesson plans easy!
