Out-of-state trainings are affordable – we only charge direct costs (travel time and materials). To date, we've trained in the following states/territory: Alaska, Hawaii, Oregon, California and American Samoa.

• Convince your co-workers to come to a training session.
  • This is a train-the-trainer model.
  • Put together a team to attend.

What can you expect at Trainings?

• Our training days are full-day but NOT boring! We model the way we would like you to go forth and present to your staff — hands on, experiential, fascinating and complete.
• Participants get an update on the latest oral health science — you will be surprised at what you didn't know — to gain confidence to go home and teach.
• Participants will understand their role in implementing the curriculum and will understand how to use the materials.

Training Teams: Who should attend?

Since CFK blends Oral Health into the preschool Learning Domains, both Health/Nutrition and Curriculum Coordinators will be interested and ready to encourage staff. Teachers will receive hands-on training of the hands-on activities. Home Visitors and Oral Health Coordinators will practice sharing information with parents.

All team members will go home to their program ready to excite their peers!
